An addiction can destroy families as much as it destroys individuals. Living with an addict is both heartbreaking and exhausting. Family members are torn between how to help the addict and how to avoid being sucked into the addict’s world. Meeting with others who share these same challenges can provide you with support and understanding as you learn to set boundaries that help you to take care of yourself.
If you are an adult, dealing with a family member who has a substance abuse issue, this weekly facilitated support group will provide a safe place to learn from the experiences of others, to share if you wish, and to benefit from regular educational material that is provided in both written form and by means of a series of guest speakers.
